The documentary film traces the rise and the inner-workings of Cambridge Analytica and especially its involvement in the Brexit campaign and the Trump campaign. The film follows the Former director of business development of Cambridge Analytica, Brittany Kaiser who has worked for the company for more than three years. Through extensive interviews and personal moments, the filmmakers make public her contradictory involvement with the company, the system and the tactics Cambridge Analytica and its CEO Alexander Nix used.

The film also follows David Carroll, who filed a law suit against Cambridge Analytica for the release of his personal data, Carole Cadwalladr – investigative journalist for The Guardian, and governmental interviews of Alexander Nix.
