Film Canon | The Best Films Directors
The Best Directors are judged by their body of work. If a director makes one great film, he doesn't qualify for inclusion on my list. A director needs to show consistency of excellence in their treatment of film material. This list contains directors with at least 3 films that meet my criteria. There are a couple of Latin film directors (Fernando Meirelles is one of them) that have 2 good films but are not included on this list. I'll will wait and see.
