There is at least one hundred artists in each and every field that have been ignored when alive and have been "discovered" only after they disappear. Why is it that we are so short sighted and unable to recognize the art piece when we can touch it? Is it because art is elitist?
The animation used in the film is beautiful and poignant.
Rodriguez is one of the most humble "lost" artists that I have seen on film. He just does what he must to walk this road of life that leads down. In several shots we see him walking - walking to his house, walking away from his house, walking in the hood. But he walks alone … always.
